Sutra for your Sunday ~ One of the Yamas in Yoga is Satya ~ truthfulness & honesty.
Difference in values can cause a lot of suffering
Difference in how we interpret things can cause division
3 Contemplations to help if you find yourself in a situation where there maybe a clash of values
1. What needs to be acknowledged ?
2. What needs to be accepted ?
3. What needs to be let go of ?
Being honest with yourself is a good place to start & the first step to getting unstuck from a blame game or guilt cycle (when it comes to moving on from relationships)
Truth maybe not everyone values what you do
Truth is not everyone may want the type of relationship you do
Coming to terms with this can be one of the hidden gifts of Yoga & Mindfulness Practice
Giving yourself time to tune into what you really want & need
To gain support to stay true to it
To build an internal resource that is a lot more reliable than being “liked”by everyone else

This allows a deeper look at truthfulness ~ deeper than honesty & lies
Practices that help you find your centre without being swayed by the pack
And instead give you your present moment back

As perhaps deep down we wanted “it” to last
What ever “it” was
What needs to be acknowledged
What needs to be accepted
What needs to be let go of
