Winter is the most “yin” time of year.  As we move into fewer daylight hours and colder temperatures, we can feel the pull to hibernate from the activities we enjoyed in the warmer months, leaving us feeling a little more stagnant and lower in energy.   


This feature class will explore yin yoga postures that honour, nourish and support the physical, mental and energetic qualities of the colder winter months with a focus on the Kidney and Urinary Bladder meridians and Water elements to support this active time of rest.  Included is a gentle weaving of mindfulness to support and nourish your practice. 


We will also explore ways to modify the yin yoga postures to adapt to your body when needing to support injuries or compromised tissues.

Suzie will be travelling from the Gold Coast to share her wisdom 

Suzie has a passion for Yin Yoga and is part of the NRG Teacher Training Faculty for Mindfuness Based Yin Yoga Certification

This program weather you take this for yourself to deepen your understanding & practice of Mindfulness or to become Certified to Teach practices. This will prepare you to support others to steady their mind & develop Mindfulness Practices to help to help them improve sleep, manage stress & enjoy a better quality of life. It will be something that you will use and call on again and again throughout all chapters of life. This is also part of our full 110hr Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher Training Certification Program & 500hr YTT Cert.
