This course has been a favourite for many students , teachers and Yoga or Meditation Practitioners due to its uniqueness , creativity , depth and yet delivered in a way that gives you a feeling of simplicity space and joy. You will be introduced to several Mudras for Mindfulness (‘Think of Mudras as Yoga in your Hands’) Gestures that regardless of the lineage has the ultimate goal of bringing forth ‘delight’ or joy.
Common barriers to Mindfulness Meditation and Yoga is the myth that you have to stop your thoughts , clear your mind and sit perfectly still. This course is for both Yoga / Meditation Students , Teachers and those new wanting to learn , practice, teach or rekindle that spark of inspiration for their practice.
Yoga is an “inside job” which means it is the quality of mind you are holding whilst doing anything at all. Through choosing specific hand gestures (Mudras) to strengthen the Pillars of Mindfulness such as self trust, patience, acceptance, letting go (to name a few) we can enhance the quality of our life and the quality of our ‘Yoga’ on and off the Yoga Mat.
The other barrier to Yoga is the idea that you have to be flexible or believing due to physical limitations Yoga is not accessible. This course will introduce you to a Full Mindful Chair Yoga Class that can be adapted in many ways.
You will learn how to use the Chair as a prop to advance poses and also make Yoga more accessible.
The need for Chair Yoga is growing and it’s application is endless.
The need for Mindfulness & Meditation is also endless (especially post pandemic)
Moving your body, using your breath is essential to health and wellbeing.
Learning how to navigate the mind is essential for the quality of your life.
