One of the most rewarding things about our Yoga & One of the most rewarding things about our Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training is supporting our Trainees to tap into their own unique style and way of personalising the way they practice and teach. It’s not a one size fits all , or a my way or the highway but a deep listening . A curious discovery that evolves over time . Everyone can play their own personal role and contribute to helping others to steady the mind. 
How that looks externally in our bodies should look different . How it feels inside is there to be respected , honoured and supported. 
Sometimes the first hurdle can be dropping ideas of what you think a Yogi or Yoga Teacher “should” be . 
Leaving space for what is truely their to be shared .

Give a BIG round of applause to Danielle for completing all components of Mindfulness Level 1 and Level 2 Teacher Training with Yoga NRG .  This process is designed to be absorbed slowly to develop understanding, and patience with yourself and others. A much needed skill for everyone where health and healing is concerned. Patience is just one of the Pillars of Mindfulness which can be a challenge for many of us , given the often hurried pace of the outer world and a flavour of things need to happen right away. This can often impact our nervous system and mind.  So it’s nice for your nervous system, your heart and your community to spend time strengthening healing qualities such as Patience. Just one of the Pillars of Mindfulness.
Reflecting on Patience and how it feels can help strengthen it and helps us to take more skilful action.
Thanks Danielle for sharing one of your reflections on patience below of what it what that experience is like for you and what arises from having felt it ~
 A patient heart and mind is open and unguarded. 
It helps me with :
Recognising impermanence and that 'this too will pass' over time. 
Loving and accepting of everything without judgement...more equanimous 
Like a panoramic view rather than tunnel vision 
All enfolding like a circle, rather than linear 
A patient heart and mind listens and is open to new learning 
let's go of past and future time and is just in the present moment 
 
Well done Danielle for dedicating this time to yourself in this way and to your Yoga Community.

Our Nervous System needs to re-learn how to Rest & Our Nervous System needs to re-learn how to Rest & Regulate itself.
The Yoga inside the Yoga (The Pillars of Mindfulness , Being with the Breath & Feeling into the Middle Path) is what can help us remember again and again ....who we really are. At rest, without identification of our obligations, roles, or this ol chestnut...”who we need to become before we can rest” 😉 
Paradoxically , practicing the Yoga inside our Supporting Resting Postures can strengthen our Body Mind and Maintain our Nervous System . Which can help us do a better job inside the roles we play in life. 
After all, of course they are important and they become more enjoyable, rewarding and longer lasting when the true person inside them gets some support to rest.

Personally my mantra was I will sleep when I’m dead (kinda still fond of it to be honest......but I’m beginning to see I can do & BE a lot more when I look after my Nervous System which in turn is looking after my life. 

Looking forward to joining with Marian , Katie, & Dr Emilia Dauway in this Mindfulness Based Restorative Yoga Immersion as we Dive into the Intricacies of Mindfulness Based Supported Rest & Yoga Nidra .
