Train your Mind to be a good door keeper~ Mindfulness shows us how.

-You wouldn’t let arseholes into your house so why let them into your mind ?

One of my most favourite quotes ever that has been one of the motivating factors to continue to meditate has been from Gandhi “Do not let people walk through your mind with their dirty feet”.

Here is another way to put it: You wouldn’t let arseholes live in your house so why let them live in your head” Yoga & Mindfulness has a great way of shaking you enough to leave the bullshit behind.

It helps you see the cause of your tension is not “them” as it is up to each of us who we invite in and who we let stay.

Ask them to leave their shoes at the door , show respect or don’t come at all. We forget sometimes we are in charge of our own mind.

Train it to be the best door keeper it can be. After all what you let stay in your mind will effect your heart.

Choose wisely right from the start. Sometimes the wisest thing to do is to open the door not to let them in, but to finally let them go.

A lesson I’m forever grateful for (that takes daily practice) as reality would have it there will always be arseholes ~

Just focus on your own though.
